Prince Edward Island, one of Canada’s three maritime provinces, consists of an island of the same name and several other islets. It is the smallest province in Canada, both in terms of land area and population.
While it may be smaller and lesser known than other provinces, Prince Edward Island can draw you in with its coastal and pastoral beauty, its quaint small-town feel, the non-existent rush hours, low crime rate and quality of education.
